In combination with conference topics as crosscultural communication issues on board or qualification profile of the maritime English lecturer, the EDINNA position on terms of "Riverspeak" met great interest. The presentation was followed by a lively discussion.
As a result the IMEC 21 - Conference decided to support EDINNA on terms of universal standards of language and communication. IMEC 22 looks forward to working tightly together with EDINNA - including an invitation to IMEC 22.
In addition to the cooperation between EDINNA and IMEC a lot of personal contacts to other members of the conference have been established. Schools or universities in Poland, Sweden, Scotland or even Japan are interested in further exchange of information.
A lot of new practical suggestions on terms of learning / teaching and several training programmes were made insofar as workshop sessions and other interactive contributions were given priority.
